A black-tie event was held at Villa Olmo in Como, Italy, where the 59-year-old founder of the wildly successful Brevan Howard Asset Management hedge fund and the 33-year-old American gluten-free chef, who is friends with Princess Beatrice, exchanged vows.
The 18th-century lakefront estate was reportedly closed for about a month as Alan reserved it for €1.3 million.
Although it's unknown where their first ceremony occurred, Alan and Caroline were legally married in 2020 during the epidemic's early stages, as per Daily Mail.

It's clear why Villa Olmo is a Como must-see location. Francesco Carabelli's sculptures are used to ornament the intricately constructed mansion, which features numerous columns and arches.
As a getaway for the aristocracy during the summer of 1797, Marquis Innocenzo Odescalchi hired Swiss architect Simone Cantoni to construct the neoclassical villa near the lake.
Napoleon Bonaparte and the Austrian Emperors Franz II and Ferdinand I were just a few famous names that had lived in the villa for years. It is frequently included on travel websites as one of Como's must-see attractions, situated in the northwest of the city at the end of a 500-meter lakeside stroll.

Luxurious paintings and statues adorn the interiors of Villa Olmo, which was so named in honor of a once-thriving elm tree that was formerly placed in its gardens. In addition, a theater that opened in 1883 is still there.
The villa is surrounded by a gorgeous Italian garden with beautiful flowerbeds, a sizable fountain, and numerous statues. Additionally, the mansion was given to the city of Como in 1924 and is currently a venue for cultural gatherings and exhibitions of art.
