Harry Redknapp was crowned King of the Jungle in 2018’s I’m A Celebrity.

He was the oldest contestant to ever win the show at 71 years old!

The famous football manager has enjoyed a long career in the beautiful game, stretching from his playing days in the 1960’s to more recent managerial stints.

Who is Harry Redknapp?

Harry Redknapp is a former professional football player and manager.

His involvement in the game stretches over 50 years from 1965-2017.

The gaffer’s most famous exploits come as a manager, where he has coached eight different clubs and one national team. He was always linked with a managerial position with the England national team although this never transpired.

Harry is remembered for winning the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008 and steering Tottenham Hotspur into the Champions League quarter-finals in 2011.

How Old is Harry Redknapp?

Harry Redknapp was the oldest contestant in the Jungle.

He was born on March 2nd, 1947, making him 72 years old.

Harry Redknapp: Young

1964-1972: Here you can see a 17-year-old Harry Redknapp (centre) one year before he made his professional football debut with West Ham United.

He went on to play for the Hammers for seven years.

1982-1992: Harry hung up his playing boots in the late 1970’s and became a player-manager in the U.S.A.

At 36, he took on his first full-time managerial role with Bournemouth in the English Four Division, who he had previously made 100 appearances for as a player.

1994-2001: Harry was the manager of West Ham in this seven-year period, where he established himself as a recognisable manager and gave West Ham a solid foot in the newly formed Premier League.

He brought through players such as  Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard through the Hammers youth system.

2001-now: Harry went on to manage Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, QPR, the Jordan National team and recently ended his career in 2017 with Birmingham City.
