Personal Statement
Hi i'm Tucker McClain. Just to get things started i'm just gonna say that I love volleyball, it's my favorite thing to do and it's my dream to play professionally eventually. I'm doing everything I can to make that a reality and the first step is to play in college.
I started playing at 14 years old and I fell in love instantly. There is a large club team (Club V) and beach volleyball facility (SandBar) near my house so i spend my time going between the two. I skipped a grade so I am a currently a junior in high school but only 16 years old. My height is 6ft 4 inches and i just caught my dad and hope to grow 2 or 3 more inches before i stop growing as I have a tall family.
After watching hours upon hours of game play from Division 1 schools I honestly think that becoming as good as them is not some unrealistic goal, I think that if I keep practicing I can become as good as the players at Division 1 schools.
You wont find anymore more passionate about volleyball than me.
At the end of the day I really just want a chance to prove myself so that's all I ask.
