God of War Ragnarok is a big game with lots of secrets. It features a lot of content that you can easily skip. For example – Stone Troll Statues. When you first come across these, you likely won’t know what to do with them. Well, once you acquire a certain item, you can then use this Relic to awaken the Trolls from their slumber. Doing this will begin a boss battle against the Trolls you’ve just woken up. Of course, once you defeat the Trolls, you will be handsomely rewarded, so this is something that both completionists and players wanting to get the best gear in the game should consider doing. Though, you will first need to find all of the Troll locations in God of War Ragnarok to be able to do so. We’re here to help you do just that.
God of War Ragnarok Midgard Troll Location Blodugr Steinn
To begin with, you need to be aware that you need the Mystical Heirloom in order to awaken and fight these Trolls. Here’s where and how you can find the Mystical Heirloom. Now that you have this Relic, head to The Derelic Outpost in Midgard first. We’ve marked the exact spot in the screenshot gallery below. Get in front of the Stone Troll Statue and activate the Relic. This will awaken the Blodugr Steinn and the Troll will attack you. Once it’s down, you’ll get a Slumber Stone and the Stone Idol of Souls Enchantment from it. The Slumber Stones are used to craft the Steinbjorn Armor set.

The second troll is called Bjarg Stormr. You can find this statue at The Forbidden Sands in Alfheim. Like before, go there and activate the Mystical Heirloom Relic when you’re close to the statue itself. Bjarg Stormr drops another Slumber Stone, as well as the Poison Protector Enchantment.
God of War Ragnarok Vanaheim Troll Statues Golrab of the Ashes & Golrab of the Frost
The third and final battle against the Trolls is the toughest one, since you will be going against two of them at the same time. The Trolls in question are Golrab of the Ashes and Golrab of the Frost, and they are found in Noatun’s Garden in Vanaheim. Once you have defeated them, you’ll receive not just a Slumber Stone, but also the Momentous Stride Enchantment.
