Personal Statement
I am a dedicated and committed athlete both on and off the court. I strive in life is to be the best person I can, always growing and learning. To say playing basketball on collegiate level is my dream is an understatement. Playing this sport since the age of five has only inspired me to work hard, train and study basketball. To do something half way is not the way I've been taught. I enjoy putting my talents to the test daily. Basketball is my passion, I realize and agree to achieve my dreams, I will sacrifice, dedicate and aspire to be an effective player to the team. I do not give up in adversity, whether on the court or in life situations. I have been blessed with many talents for the sport. Being a dominate left handed player, I am very agile and am able to use this to my advantage. I stand 6' 3 1/2", but my wing span is 77", I have great speed, handle the ball well and have developed an excellent leaping ability. With my leaping ability and wing span, I play more like a 6'6" player. I have what they call an "eagle eye" for visualizing the game on the court, allowing me to succeed at assists. .My ability grows daily, because I study my mistakes and learn to overcome. I have a high basketball IQ I believe
