The Laurel Inn Hotel Review, San Francisco

A fellow guest described interiors here as “like my aunt’s house, in a good way”. I’m inclined to agree – the mid-Modern layouts and jewel box tones adopted during the 2017 renovation evoke that aesthetic. Of the 49 rooms, available with either a king or two double beds, 18 have retro kitchenettes, equipped with a microwave and coffee-maker, and Illy Café coffee. All have a mini-fridge, iPod docking station, flat screen television, and many have a sitting area and desk. Pet friendly rooms are available. Rooms on the south-east of the building overlook a busy street, so request a City View room on the opposite side if you prefer complete quiet.
