Personal Statement
I fell in love with track & field in elementary school, while competing in the Hershey Track & Field town and state level meets. It was drastically different from anything else I had experienced, and I loved feeling the rush of adrenaline I got when I would compete.
It is my dream to continue my track career in college. I greatly enjoy the challenge of competing against the very best in the sport, striving to constantly improve my performance and contributing to the success of the team. Track has also provided me with many valuable life lessons and friendships that I cherish and will enjoy for the rest of my life.
Away from the track, I enjoy cooking, as well as hanging out with my friends and my dog. I have also competed in figure skating for many years and am currently a certified Learn to Skate USA instructor where I teach children basic skating skills.
