Netflix’s steamy series Sex/Life is back with drama and love triangles aplenty in the newly released trailer for season two.
The show follows suburban mom Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) as she struggles to decide between her reliable husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) and her passionate ex-boyfriend Brad Simon (Adam Demos).
As if that wasn’t complicated enough, her decision-making process is complicated even further when another man gets mixed up in the equation.
The sultry trailer begins with Billie saying, “One of the most important decisions you’ll ever make is who to spend your life with.” As the stakes grow ever higher, Billie is left questioning everything she’s done as Cooper and Brad enter into their own love triangles.
Billie’s best friend, Sasha Snow (Margaret Odette), comments on Billie’s choice to “sacrifice a huge part of yourself for a man,” as everyone is introduced to potential new love interests.
The trailer ends with a mysterious man’s voice saying, “You have a choice you need to make,” leaving fans on the edge of their seats.
The show’s creator, Stacy Rukeyser, was thrilled when Netflix picked the show up for a second season. She said, “When I think about all the women who have reached out from all over the world to say that the show speaks to them in a deeply personal way, I am so inspired.”
