His passing shocked and devastated his loved ones, friends, and everyone who knew him. There is a vacuum in the Goddard USD 265 community and beyond due to the passing of such a fantastic person.

Goddard USD 265’s deputy superintendent, Ryan Jilka, 50, passed away on May 29, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas.
The Central Community Church will hold a memorial ceremony in his honor On June 5, 2023.
He surely wants to attend it in person, but unfortunately, the service will be live-streamed on the church’s website. Let’s hope he’ll still be able to participate and enjoy it virtually.
His wife is Kerrie Jilka. He is also survived by his father. Ryan leaves behind his children:

Ryan is survived by his step-sister Stacey Turis and her husband, Dave Turis. And as well by his step-brother Chris Fundaburk and his wife, Holly Fundaburk of Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
