John also works as a creative director in the company Bold Honey which is founded by his elder daughter. He has collaborated with well-known singer Janelle Monae.
He has been in the industry for over 20 years.

Aduja used her graphic design skills to create a part decor company named P.J. Tuttles. The brand provided party essentials such as plates, napkins, and cups. She got the idea to open the business after she became disappointed with the lack of stylish and detailed theme party supplies, especially for children.
Aduja had mentioned that she would be closing the business to support her older daughter in her acting career. The Instagram page of P.J. Tuttles has been inactive since 2018.
