Ohio State is getting a pair of elite players back on the field next season.

Running back TreVeyon Henderson and defensive end JT Tuimoloau both announced Friday that they will forgo the NFL Draft and return to play for the Buckeyes.

Henderson announced his return on X and Tuimoloau announced his on his Instagram.

In his third season with the Buckeyes last year, Henderson notched 926 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in 10 games. Tuimoloau, also in his third season, picked up 38 tackles and five sacks on the year.

Henderson's best season for the Buckeyes came his freshman year when he picked up 1,248 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He missed three games with an injury last season, which led to a hit in his production, but he'll be looking for a big 2024 season to try and boost his draft stock and lead the Buckeyes to success.

He was ranked No. 45 on Bleacher Report's latest Big Board, which would've made him the top-ranked running back of the class.

Tuimoloau—who was No. 34 on Bleacher Report's latest Big Board—has shown impressive growth with each season for Ohio State. He had 21 more tackles this season than he did his freshman year and was also up 10 tackles from the 2022 season. He's emerged as a huge piece for the Buckeyes' defense.

While the two have both had impressive careers with Ohio State, they haven't completed one of the biggest feats a member of the Buckeyes can accomplish in beating Michigan.

Ohio State hasn't taken down Michigan since 2019, before Henderson and Tuimoloau were with the team. Returning to the team next year gives them the chance to beat their rivals—who are fresh off a national championship—before their collegiate careers come to an end.

Henderson and Tuimoloau have both been to the College Football Playoff while at Ohio State, but next season they will return in hopes of leading the Buckeyes to a championship.
