8. Los Angeles Lakers (47-35)

9. Sacramento (46-36)

10. Golden State (46-36)

Oklahoma City won the biggest shift at the top of the standings on Sunday.

The Thunder hold home-court advantage throughout the West playoffs, but they could face a dangerous No. 8 seed.

The Lakers, Kings and Warriors sit eighth through 10th in the West and all three could make a run at the 8 seed.

New Orleans hopes it does not have to worry about the No. 8 seed on Friday. The Pelicans have a second shot against the Lakers at home on Tuesday in the play-in round.

The Pelicans are in this position because they lost the head-to-head tiebreaker to the Suns.

Phoenix is arguably the biggest winner from Sunday's games because it avoided the play-in round and set up a first-round matchup with a Minnesota team that it just beat on Sunday.

The Suns beat the Wolves twice in April and three times this season. They will likely be the top lower seed chosen to advance out of the opening round because of that.
