Nathan Morris is an American singer and businessman from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a founding member of the group Boyz II Men and is known for his ability to sing tenor, soprano, and baritone. Morris was discovered by a vocal teacher in fourth grade and was accepted into the Philadelphia High School for the Creative & Performing Arts.
Boyz II Men was formed in 1988 and has released 10 studio albums with hit songs like “Motownphilly”, “End of the Road”, and “I’ll Make Love to You”. The group broke the record set by Elvis Presley with “One Sweet Day”, spending 16 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100. They are also only the third artist to replace themselves at #1 on that chart. Billboard magazine recognized Boyz II Men as the 4th most successful musical group of the 90s.
Boyz II Men has won four Grammy Awards, and their new album, Collide, is scheduled to be released in late 2014. Nathan Morris also appeared in the 1992 TV movie The Jacksons: An American Dream.
