Moneysign Suede net worth has become a topic of interest after his unprecedented death.

The former rapper was stabbed to death on April 25th, Tuesday, in a California prison.

According to some sources, the deceased prisoner’s net worth was around $1 million.

Jaime Brugada Valdez, aka Moneysign Suede, was 22 years old at the time of his brutal stabbing.

The deceased was serving two years and an eight-month-long sentence on the charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a gun.

He was sentenced in December 2022 in Riverside County. Jaime Brugada Valdez was also facing a gun charge in Los Angeles County.

However, he had already pleaded guilty and expected to receive a two-year sentence concurrently with his Riverside convictions.

On Tuesday, just before 10 PM, the police officials found Moneysign Suede unconscious in the shower area at the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad.

He was instantly provided medical care but eventually succumbed to his injuries.

The police department did not disclose the details of his injuries but stated that Valdez’s death was being investigated as a homicide.

Authorities confirmed that movement within the prison had been limited to facilitate the investigation.

Jaime Brugada Valdez’s lawyer, Nicholas Rosenberg, told Los Angeles Times that his client was stabbed in the neck.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Suede was signed by Atlantic Records in 2021, and the most recent and last album of his career was released last September.

The prison at which Valdez lost his life usually caters to minimum and medium security inmates.

An anonymous prisoner told a media outlet that Valdez’s death occurred in the part of the prison that mostly has general population prisoners.

He also raised the question of why a famous rapper like Moneysign Suede was not kept in a sensitive-needs yard.

His death serves as a reminder for the prison facilities to improve their security system within the premises.
