TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - British pop musician, Mika, will still perform in concert at Skeeno Hall, Gandaria City, on May 10 despite the cancellation of Aerosmith's concert scheduled on May 11 due to safety reasons.
"Mika's concert will run as planned. We have information from the United States Embassy that there are no security issues or travel warning that may be threatening the concert,"said Samantha Tzovols, a representative of Mika's promotor in Jakarta, M-Pro Sport and Entertainment.
For his Jakarta concert, Mika is expected to perform all hits from his debut albums (Brit Award winner in 2007, Life in Cartoon Motion), his second album The Boy Who Knew Too much, and his latest album, The Origin of Love.
Samantha claimed that the preparation for Mika's arrival is running accordingly. Ticket sales are going well and the production team is ready. The promotor cooperates with private security consultants as 2,500 people are expected to come see the concert.
