Micheal Strahan’s April Fool: He Didn’t Fix The Gap In His Tooth

An American television personality, journalist, space tourist, and former professional American footballer named Michael T. Strahan. He was born on November 21, 1971, in Houston.

He was the sixth child of Louise Traylor, a basketball coach, and his father, Gene Willie Strahan. His father was a retired army officer and a boxer tieing 1-1 against the future heavyweight boxer Ken Norton.

He was the nephew of the famous NFL defensive lineman Art Strahan. Micheal was 9 when he and his family moved to Benjamin Franklin Village in Mannheim, West Germany.

He wasn’t seen to be interested in playing football until high school. He played organized football until 1985 when he entered Mannheim American High School.

Then Micheal was sent to his uncle in Houston to move further to get admission to Westbury high school. Micheal played one season of football which was enough to get a scholarship to Texas Southern University.

He graduated from the university in 1993 and enrolled himself in the National Football League(NFL). Strahan had an excellent start in the NFL.

He won six football matches for his team, and due to some injuries, he missed the Giants’ two playoff games that season. Strahan pulled himself back up in 1997 and recorded 14 sacks.

He was highly voted for his first Pro Bowl and was named First-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press. In 1998, he was again voted for his second pro bowl after gathering a record of 15 sacks.

In 2000, Strahan joined the Giants and participated in the super bowl XXXV. The Giants had a great start at the beginning of the NFC Championship Game, defeating the Minnesota Vikings with a 41-0.

However, the Baltimore Raven came out strong against the Giants to cost them the match with 34-7. Strahan was seen negotiating with the Giants on a new contract.

However, the contract wasn’t signed, and the team turned against him when he refused the first contract. Micheal accused the front office of being responsible for the team not being competitive enough in 2002.

After four days, Tiki Barber was seen to fire blows on Strahan by saying that he is selfish and greedy. It was reported that the two had a heated conversation, and Strahan says that they are no more in contact with each other.

He was an excellent defensive end from 1997 to 2001. He was the two-time NFC Defensive Player of the Year (2001 and 2003). After an injury in the pectoral muscle, he was only to sack four records.

In 2005, he returned strong with returning to the Pro Bowl, with his protégé, Osi Umenyiora. Combined, they were able to secure 26 sacks and anchor the Giants.

After securing countless victories in NFL and getting many titles, the professional NFL footballer retired on June 9, 2008, saying, “It’s time, I’m done.” on Foxsport.com.

The achievements after his retirement were counted as 854 career tackles, 24 forced fumbles, four career interceptions, and three career touchdowns in 200 games. He secured the sack with a record of 141.5.

Even without the shirt of the Giant team, Micheal is recognizable, thanks to the gap in his teeth. He is known to be very popular with the man with the tooth gap.
