Personal Statement
I really would like to be successful in college by achieving the best grades possible, doing the best I can in sports, and becoming a better person. I'm a good candidate because I'm a leader on and off the field, I do the work other players don't want to do, and I have heart. I grew up playing football in Reston and started playing flag at age four and tackle at age 8 and have been a leader on all my teams since the beginning. Throughout my youth, I was a year round Martial Artist who played football in the fall, basketball in the winter, and as I got a little older I began playing lacrosse in the spring. Sports are the one thing for me to get away from problems I deal with in life and I love it because it has made me the experienced young man I am today! Education is key for me, I've always been a good student who has cared for my education and I always want the best thing possible in academics. Since I've started playing high school football my record has been a total of 24 wins and 9 losses, a 2-time district champ, a regional champ, and even made a run to the state game losing in only over time to a great opponent. Aside from, football I'm different from other recruits because I play over three sports Such as Lacrosse where I've been on varsity since a sophomore, varsity indoor track in which my first year becoming a district and regional qualifier, and basketball. I am also different through the way I carry myself and I take advanced classes and have achieved more than three-fourths of my credits as a junior and I value education heavily.
