Malcolm Young, the Scottish-born Australian guitarist and founder of hard rock band AC/DC, had a net worth of $100 million dollars at the time of his death. Young was born in Glasgow in 1953 and his family emigrated to Australia when he was 10 years old. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Malcolm died from dementia in 2017 at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife Linda and their two children, Cara and Ross.
