Personal Statement
Hello! At this point in my career, I have played water polo for just over 2 years. The second I was introduced to the sport my sophomore year I fell in love with the rush of the game and slamming the ball into the cage. Before that, I was and still am a club swimmer at SUNN Swimming. I stay with club swimming to keep improving my speed as well as club water polo to practice my skills. While balancing a rigorous training schedule with swimming, playing, and weight training, I also run a small sticker business on Etsy (Pandico Studio) as well as lead Fremont High's Chinese Club and Honor Society. I am the team captain for the school's swim team as well.
I have been on varsity since I started playing and became the starting center player junior year. My goals as a student-athlete are to continue improving and playing the sports I love (that go hand in hand with each other) and major in product or industrial design. I plan to continue playing or swimming through the U.S. Master's program after college too. Thank you!
