Personal Statement
Playing Volleyball always makes me happy and excited. It was a sport that I started at a young age. I have come to grow a love for the sport and am super passionate. I am a hardworking individual in both academics or athletics, and I am always looking to improve myself. I have a high volleyball IQ, and try to leverage that advantage in our team's play.
I am confident that I would be a great addition to a college team, as I can play and work with any players, seek feedback from teammates, control my emotions at all times, radiate confidence to players, and try to inspire others to work as one team. I am able to visually and verbally communicate with the coach during the match. I always prepare to take every second ball, and try to improve the team’s chances of scoring by making the best possible set.
To me it is very important to maintain a balance between athletics and academics. My goal is to be a student athlete with outstanding academic achievements.
