Experience
Kristina's career began with an education at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she received a B.A. in Advertising and Marketing Communications with a minor in Literature. While attending university in New York City, she interned for a small, up-and-coming women's RTW brand and learned the ins and outs of design, garment construction, production, public relations, and more. After graduating, she began her editorial career as a Fashion Assistant at Glamour magazine. From there, she joined the ranks of Self, where she was the Fashion Market Editor, and most recently she was the Senior Market Editor of InStyle, before becoming a freelance editor and writer.
When not covering fashion, Kristina enjoys cooking with friends, hiking and the outdoors, traveling and is an avid pilates enthusiast. She loves to thrift and enjoys the thrill of finding unique vintage wares, both fashion, furniture and home goods.
