Robert Brantley, also known as the man who was recently ambushed by a group of kittens, has shared a video update on the cats’ condition after he rescued them from the side of the road.
The post, which was uploaded to Instagram and has already gained over 6000 likes and nearly 280 comments, shows that all but five of the 13 kittens have been adopted and have received medical care.
Brantley, a professional shooter, was on his way to the shooting range when he saw a stray kitten on the side of the road. As he picked it up, three more emerged from the grass and he was soon surrounded by a total of 13 kittens.
Brantley believes he pulled up just behind whoever had abandoned the kittens and recalls seeing a car pull off and drive away after he arrived.
The remaining kittens are being well cared for, and Brantley and his wife Courtney have been receiving Amazon donations and monetary contributions from people all over to help with their medical care and to give to a local animal shelter.
