She thinks that the more you pay for something, the classier it is - or it makes you classy. I used to work in retail, in an "old money" part of town. Those people had big bucks, but they didn't wave their designer bags and try to let you know how much money they had; it was considered to be tacky to do so. It was merely known that they did have money, and guess what? They didn't spend money like it was water, and certainly purchased classic items that could be worn many times, items that would stand the test of time.
I think Kim wants her family to be another K family. The problem is, she's nowhere near as savvy and smart as Kris J. The momager is a nasty woman, but give the devil it's due. Kris J is a smart businesswoman. Kim is also too lazy to do any real work.
I just had to google Kim and Kroy's net worth. I found one article that had hers at 1.5 million, and his at 5.5 million. Sounds like a lot of money, but they have that huge house, plus upkeep, plus she spends money like I drink diet soda.
