Jonathan Brandmeier is an American musician and radio personality with a net worth of $2.5 million.
Born in 1956 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Brandmeier began his career in radio at local stations in 1973. By the age of 18, he was a DJ in Oshkosh, Wisconsin before moving to Appleton and eventually San Jose, California.
In 1980, Brandmeier started working in radio in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a year later, he became a morning DJ in Phoenix where he created entertaining content for morning commuters. He released his first album, “Just Havin’ Fun”, in 1982 and joined WLUP in Chicago as a morning DJ a year later.
Brandmeier is known for his hit local songs, including “Hey Der Milwaukee Polka”, “The Moo-Moo Song”, and “We’re All Crazy in Chicago”. He stayed with WLUP for almost 15 years until management changes led him to a different radio station (WCKG) until 2001.
After a hiatus, Brandmeier returned to radio on KCBS and later WLUP in the mid-2000s. He also played in a local band called The Leisure Suits and has released five albums between 1982 and 2008, including “Almost Live”, “Brandmeier”, and “Larger Than Live”. In 2011, he joined WGN Radio.
