Jonathan Johnson Jr known as “Lil John John” departed this life on May 6, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1998 to Jonathan Johnson Sr and L’Tanya Alexander. He was preceded in death by his late grandmother Francine Williams-Johnson; aunt Stephaine Johnson; Great Grandmother Mary Beckwith; and cousin Myaja Wilson.
Jonathan attended Granby High School and graduated as a member of the ROTC. He served in the United States Army as a Diesel Mechanic and obtained his Associate’s Degree.
Additionally, he graduated from basic training with distinguished honors.
Jonathan had a wonderful spirit and a great sense of humor, he loved joking around and laughing. He was a devoted & loving father who took pride in raising his children.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include: loving wife Taj Jay Johnson; one daughter, Nianni Johnson; one son, Nomias Johnson; father, Jonathan Johnson Sr. (Tenika); mother, L’Tanya Alexander (Keith); one sister, Janequa Johnson, one brother, Kylik Johnson; grandparents Mr. Albert Sr. & Mrs. Christine Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
