Jhene Aiko Mom – Is She The Mother Of Jhene’s Ninth Brother?

Jhene Aiko’s mom and her dad were happy as Jhene Aiko’s father, Dr. Karama Chilombo, welcomed his ninth child into the family. The ninth child was born a month after Jhene and her husband welcomed their son.

Chilombo shared a post on his Instagram on Sunday, December 25, in which he wrote,“He is here”. He was referring to his newly born son, and in his post, there was a slideshow of the newborn.  

Chilombo shared another post in which he recalled his first encounter with his son. He said this was the first time he met his ninth son, and he was already hungry. 

In July, Chilombo, who is the father of eight other children, announced that another child was on its way to increase the family.

He added that soon the gender of his child would be revealed. Jhene, 34, on this occasion, sent well-wishes to her father. 

In a clip that she shared on her social media, she commented, “Congratulations 💙.”

According to sources, it was confirmed that Jhene Aiko’s father was 78 years old at the time he welcomed his ninth child.

Jhene, who is the Grammy-nominated singer, has been excited after the arrival of Chilomba’s ninth child. 

Jhene Aiko’s mom, Christina Yamamoto, is the youngest Yamamoto in her family, and she shares five children with Chilombo. Jhene’s parents have raised daughters, Jamila and Miyoko, and a son Jahi. 

Jhene had a brother named Miyagi, but he died from a brain tumor in 2012. He was 26 at the time he died. 

The “Sunshine” songstress welcomed her second child, son Noah, in November.

Noah’s father is Big Sean. It was known that Aiko is also the mother of Namiko, 14, whom she shared with her ex O’Ryan. 

Sean made an announcement on his Instagram account where he said, “After 24 hours of Labor, A Lunar Eclipse, with rain from the beginning of labor til he was born, he’s here safe and sound.”

He added, “Happy, Healthy and everything we could ever ask for and more.”

Aiko and Sean began their relationship in 2016, but they were on and off.

2016 was also the year when the pair released their joint album Twenty88. Two years later, they parted ways, but in 2020, they patched up. 

In 2019, she talked about relations she had with the “Bounce Back” and said they were close to each other and were a lot alike.

She added that they felt it easy to collaborate with each other. They shared different ideas and had a great time together.

During an episode of Vice Autobiographies in 2016, she opened up about her experience of being Namiko’s mom. 

She shared a statement in which she said, “In 2008, I got pregnant with my daughter. She made me feel fearless. I never doubted that something good would come from it. If anything, it was inspiring and it just gave me this extra, extra drive.
