Jeff Greene: Real Estate Magnate with a Net Worth of $3 Billion
Jeff Greene is an American real estate magnate with a net worth of $3 billion. He began investing in properties while attending business school and graduated with a BA in Economics and Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, and later, he got his MBA from Harvard University. Greene currently owns about 1150 units in Palm Beach, over 3500 apartments in Los Angeles, and three buildings in Manhattan. He bought a piece of land in West Village last year, which he plans to develop into a residential condo. In addition to his real estate empire, he and his wife Mei Sze Chan live in their luxury home in the Palazzo Di Amore, but they also have residences in Palm Beach and Beverly Hills.
Greene was a busboy at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach before he made his fortune. He succeeded in building up an eminent real estate empire and put himself on the world’s list of billionaires. Governed by his mother’s motto “save your pennies, look for value, and never pay retail,” Greene has managed to raise the number of properties he owns mainly in Palm Beach. He was once a U.S. Senate candidate of the Democratic Party.
