Jamie Lee Curtis’ Daughter: She Is Truly Blessed With The Best

Annie Guest, Jamie Lee Curtis’ daughter, has a gorgeous smile, just like her exquisite grandmother Janet Leigh. Annie has another sister named Ruby, who is younger than her and came out as transgender last year.

Jamie Lee Curtis’ Beautiful Daughter, Annie Guest

Annie Guest was born on 13 December 1986, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is one of the two adopted children Jamie Lee Curtis and Christopher Guest share. Jamie is an activist, writer, and actress.

Whereas her husband is British-American, Christopher Guest is a popular screenwriter, actor, and director. The couple tied a knot in 1984 and since then they are going strong, even if it is about their children.

Annie’s grandpa was in the nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor in “The Defiant One” in 1958, and her grandma was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in “Psycho,” a cinematic adaptation of one of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic books.

Curtis was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony in 1998, while Annie was pictured on the red carpet with her father and grandmother, Janet Leigh.

Annie Guest is Jamie and Thomas’ adoptive child, which explains why she avoids the limelight. She and her other adopted sister, Ruby, are often seen attending different occasions with her mother.

Annie Guest – A Hard Worker Who Excels at What She Does

Annie Guest is a dance instructor from the United States. She followed her childhood dream of becoming a dancer. She began dancing at an early age and has competed in a number of international contests.

Guest went to Kenyon College in Ohio to continue her passion for dancing that she started when she was three years old. She concentrated on classical and modern dance techniques as well as ballet at that school.

She then went on to acquire a BFA in Dance and opted to pursue a career as a dance instructor. She has trained students at a number of reputable institutions before joining MRN Dance Factory in Los Angeles.

She has studied ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop dance forms in her course. Annie’s popularity as a dance instructor is only expanding, due to multiple accolades, hit shows, and performances.

Annie was rated the finest choreographer in college by her peers. Being a team director for MRN DF, Annie also collaborates with dancers of diverse skills.

Is Annie Guest Adopted?

Annie was born into an open adoption, which meant that both her biological and adoptive parents were upfront about the adoption. The parents of Annie and Ruby are super supportive of them.

Curtis and Guest struggled with infertility and decided to adopt Annie, through an adoption agency in 1986. Ruby was adopted after nine years.

Tell Me Again About The Night I Was Born, a book written by Curtis in 1996, emphasized the necessity of discussing birth stories with adopted kids.

Exchanging Vows at Their Renovated Home

Annie Guest live life was pretty much private. She never opened up about her personal life and according to some sources, she was dating Jason Wolf for a few years before tying a knot in 2019 in a private ceremony.

The wedding venue was beautiful at Annie’s refurbished Spanish Colonial family home which is located in California. She chose a stunning Zac Posen gown with big puffed sleeves to commemorate the occasion.

The whole event was private hence only close friends and families were invited to the Guest’s wedding. The party was hosted in Annie’s renowned mother’s house and was a wonderful affair, as per Annie’s legendary mother.

Annie Guest’s mother Jamie Lee Curtis shared her wedding day photos on her Instagram account, in which she also congratulated the couple on such a big event of their lives.

Jamie Lee Curtis continued on to name herself the proudest mom of her daughter, Annie, describing it as “a loving, familial blending with laughs, tears, and truth.”

Details of the Marriage

All of the other details were kept hidden from the media by Curtis as she respects the privacy of their children more than anything else. Annie and Ruby both stay low-key and do not share anything with the media.

Her most recent public appearance was in 2018 when she and the rest of her family attended the premiere of her mother’s film “Halloween.”

Her mother, who never overshares, fully understands her children’s desire for seclusion. Only a few images from Jamie’s tens of thousands on Instagram depict the complete family.

Blessed With the Best

Christopher Guest and Jamie Lee Curtis wanted a adopt a child and then they adopted Annie shortly after she was born. The star told People as becoming Annie’s parent was “the most profound, nondescribable event of her life.”

Curtis’ acting profession was highly demanding around the time Annie was born, though.  “My memory of A Fish Called Wanda is that I cried every day to and from work,” Jamie revealed to USA Today.

“Not that I laughed, not that it was super-fun, nothing. My memory of A Fish Called Wanda was leaving my sleeping 6-month-old daughter, going to work an hour away and then working 12 hours, sometimes more, and then an hour back, often to a child asleep again,” she continued.

“And that was like the beginning of it all for me.”  What exactly did “it all” mean, though? She had a very tough routine, she was stressed out of thinking to balance her work life with her personal life.

Since the 1990s, the mother-daughter team has been walking the red carpet in matching outfits, which was their leopard print. But despite Annie Guest’s preference is to keep her personal life secret, she’ll almost certainly show up at a premiere with her mother in the coming years.
