Personal Statement
During my development as a football player and a young man, I have learned that the achievement of team goals always supersedes personal accomplishment. As a player I am willing to make tremendous sacrifices in the name of team success. Although my natural position is the that of safety, I am willing to adapt to a variety of positions based on the needs of the program where I choose to play. I feel that my dedication in the weight room, on the field, in the classroom, and in my community have molded me into a leader that will excel in all circumstances. My internal competitive drive is second to none and I hold myself and all those around me to a level of accountability that breeds success. Having a background in a number of sports such as soccer, basketball, track, and lacrosse, I feel that I possess a variety of physical and psychological attributes that have formed my foundation as an exceptional athlete. My collegiate academic studies will focus on the field of public administration as I envision myself working for community improvement and safety in the future.
