No, Aafia Siddiqui is not Jewish. It has been known that she was born to a Sunni Muslim family in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The neuroscientist was born on the 2nd of March, 1972, and is 49 years old as of now. 

Furthermore, Aafia belongs to the Urdu-speaking Muhajir, Deobandi community of Karachi. She was raised in a Muslim household.

She used to teach Islam wherever she lived and even founded a United Islamic Organization. Moreover, Ismet served as a member of Pakistan's parliament as well.

In addition, Ismet successfully drew the attention of General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haw due to her support for Islam in the face of feminist opposition to his Hudood Ordinances. She got appointed to a Zakat Council.

Coming back to Aafia Siddiqui, she had attended school in Zambia till the age of 8  and finished her primary and secondary education in Karachi. Then she moved to Houston, Texas, the US in 1990 on a student visa. She joined her brother there who was studying architecture. Aafia attended the University of Houston. According to her friends, she avoided movies, novels, and television, except for the news. 

Moreover, she transferred to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after three semesters. She even won a $5000 Carroll L. Wilson Award for her research proposal 'Islamization in Pakistan and its Effects on Women'.
