Personal Statement
Volleyball has been my number one sport for as long as I can remember. To continue playing for 4 more years while in college would be a dream come true. I hope to play on a competitive level, while also getting a strong education. I've played for 7 years on school teams and began playing on club teams four winters ago. I'm a DS, but I've also been utilized as an OH/RH in High School and on my club teams. My strong hitting allows me to hit well from the back row. For my senior year, my high school coach is using me as a RH.
My goal is to be a part of a hard working yet encouraging team and play for a coach that not only has the best interest of the team in mind, but also my best interest in mind. I have been able to balance a difficult academic schedule along with athletics since sixth grade while maintaining high grades. I currently live in central Illinois, but I am from New England, so I am open to different geographic locations. My preference is a Christian school, since my faith is a big part of my life as well as my family's, but I am open to other opportunities as well.
