The APD reminds fans that selling tickets for any value, including face value, is prohibited on Georgia Dome, Congress Center, or Centennial Park property. They also say you should be mindful of parking only in permitted lots. Violators will have their vehicles towed and impounded if they ignore those "no parking" signs.
In its 21-year history, the SEC Championship has sold out. A collective 1.6 million fans have witnessed the game over the years. According to the official SEC website, Saturdays Auburn vs. Missouri game joins those ranks. But, ticket re-sellers still have plenty left. As of Thursday night, StubHub has more than 1,300 tickets available. Prices start at $203 a piece.
Jason Kirksey, spokesman for the Georgia Dome, tells 11Alive's Julie Wolfe the list of prohibited items are the same as any Dome event (backpacks, coolers, large bags, etc). But the 'clear bag policy' in effect for Falcons games will NOT be in effect for the SEC Championship game.
It's an NFL policy that went into effect this year as an extra safety precaution at all NFL games. After 11Alive News pointed out the confusion about the bag policy on social media, @GeorgiaDome tweeted:For those fans asking or wondering the NFL Clear Bag policy will not be enforced this weekend at #SECATL
