Personal Statement
I was introduced to soccer when I was eight years old by my dad. I really enjoyed the game and wanted to keep playing. I have always dreamt of playing soccer in college. I know that it will be difficult to achieve that goal but I believe that if I put in the effort in I could potentially play at a great school someday.
I am creative and think fast when I’m on the field. I get just as excited when I assist my teammates as when I score goals. To me leadership is important because successful teams have great leaders and that is evident not just in soccer but everywhere. I work hard and strive to be the best version of me that I can be. I encourage everyone around me to push themselves and work harder.
While in the classroom I study hard and push myself to do better every time I get my report card back. The activities I’m involved in school are Model UN, Debate Club, French Club, and Zonta Club. While I have the time I love volunteering at local summer camps where I can teach young kids about the great game of soccer.
I want to select a college where I can strive in and out of the classroom, to push myself and others, and to be the best version of me that I can be. I am willing to look into all options but I would like to find the right competition that matches me as a player. I hope to evolve into the great person and soccer player that I know I can be.
