Personal Statement
I am a baseball player with big dreams and a great desire to be the best ball player I can be. The youngest of 3 boys I have seen both my older brothers go to college to play football and baseball. Both of them worked hard at their respective sports. I was able to attend both of their signing day events and I decided then, that I want to not just follow in their foot steps but out-do them, if I am blessed with the opportunity.
I want to reach my highest level at the sport I love. Baseball is a personal joy that I have had since I picked up a ball and glove a long time ago. I have been lucky to play for some very good coaches and programs along the way. This has helped me improve my game and it is something that I work at everyday.
I believe that my work ethic is second to none and that has allowed me to have the many successes playing the game. I also have seen how important it is to do well in the classroom. I know the importance and need to do well in school, therefore I work just as hard in school.
Coach, if I am given the opportunity to play baseball at your school, I will do my best to represent the school, your program and you to the best of my abilities at all times.
