Messy Mitch hasn’t been on Love Island five minutes compared to some of the other All Stars but his antics landed him with a savage nickname right from the get-go. After making his Love Island debut in series 10, Mitchel Taylor is back for more fun in the villa and he can’t get enough of the drama.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mitch spends his days as a gas engineer when he’s not causing trouble in the Love Island villa. The Sheffield lad was cast for a very dramatic ITV series last year and was dumped on Day 56. His time on the show saw him cozying up to Molly Marsh before her current beau, Zachariah Noble, arrived.
Love Island fans ‘can’t cope’ with Messy Mitch
Mitchel Taylor burst onto the Love Island scene in 2023. Now, he’s back on All Stars and it hasn’t taken long for people to start calling him “messy” again.
His first appearance in series 10 saw him awarded the nickname. Now, fans literally “can’t cope” with how “messy” Mitch is carrying on in the villa.
Taking to X (Twitter) one viewer tweeted: “DO YOU RECKON ITS MOLLY?! Nah Mitch is so funny I can’t cope.”
Another said: “Not Mitch shouting to Callum “Do u think it’s Molly” LMFAOO MESSY MITCH IS BACK.”
More said after All Stars’ January 23 episode: “The producers knew what they were doing giving such questions to Mitch.”

Star dubbed a ‘snake’
Mitch has been called “messy,” he’s been called “fake,” and the poor guy has also been dubbed a “snake” during his time on Love Island.
The series 10 lads gathered together last year to discuss their “disappointment” at Mitch’s behavior.
Tyrique Hyde described Mitch’s moves as “bottom of the barrel behavior” and his fellow Islanders questioned his “loyalty.”
Zach later asked Mitch “how he was feeling,” before calling him “snake boy.”
Defending his character, Mitch explained his comments were “taken out of context.”
Mitch is messier during All Stars
Love Island All Stars is only into its second week but the villa is already thick with drama as Kaz Kamwi’s ex returns, and Mitch rubs Luis Morrison up the wrong way.
Chris Taylor is smooching Molly Smith even though her ex, Callum Jones, is in earshot, and Demi Jones is getting called out for her “lack of girl code” as she “didn’t have time” to speak to Kaz about a secret kiss.
Mitch isn’t absent from all the beefing, either. After news Luis had kissed Demi spread around the villa, the now-dumped Islander flew into an intense rant at Mitch.
All Stars contestant Mitch is a Gemini on the zodiac and according to Allure, thankfully they: “…can quickly recover from even the most shameful foot-in-mouth moments.”
Despite Mitch being dubbed “messy” all over again this season, fans are totally here for it, judging by their tweets. Many are commenting they “love” it.
Speech gets messy
Back in series 10, Mitch’s messiness went so far, he was actually given an award for his efforts.
The gas engineer won an award for ‘Mad Moves’ which he admitted wasn’t “the best to have.”
Mitch attempted to defend himself in front of his co-stars after a clip was shown of him speaking about two different girls and his connection (or lack of) with them: “Hear me out, I was comparing two days to two weeks.”
The Love Island star added he was “the happiest he’s ever been with Ella B,” adding: “We all make mistakes and we learn from them.”
He later stood in front of the group and said he was “…chilling here, being honest,” before calling out Scott van-der-Sluis for his “red flag behavior.”
By the looks of things, fans are keen for Mitch to keep doing what he does best, with one writing: “Sorry not sorry but y’all can never make me hate Messy Mitch, he’s doing what he has to do to keep the ratings up!!”
