Eula Mae O’Neal – Metropolitan Funeral

Mother Eula Mae Oneal 82, was born May 4, 1941 to the late Mary E. Watson and Milton B. Watson. She departed this life on July 8, 2023 at Norfolk General Hospital. She was the widow of JM Oneal. Mother Oneal had five children, she is survived by Edward “Wayne” Watson of Goldsboro NC and Diane M. Coleman of Norfolk Va. Three whom is preceded in death. Jim “David” Watson, Maurice Watson and Susan Ann Watson. Mother Oneal was a big sister of eight brothers and five sisters. Milton Watson, Al J. Watson Sr., Melvin G. Watson, James Watson, Edward Watson, Clara Mae Watson, Thelma J. Watson, Julia Bland, all preceded in death. She is survived by Janet Parks of Smithfield NC, Larry Watson of Smithfield NC, Glen Watson of Goldsboro NC, and Roy Watson of Goldsboro NC. Mother Oneal is survived by twelve grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mother Oneal attended school in Princeton NC. She was a very hard worker and held down a variety of jobs through the years. Her Favorite job was caring for her family.

She joined Raynortown Apostolic Church at an early age and became the Mother of the church in 2007. She was an active member and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She was a praying warrior to her family and friends. Mother Oneal was selfless and welcomed everyone. She was the real definition of a heart of gold.
