Born in Rahway, New Jersey in 1964, Yarborough played football and wrestled at Morgan State University where he was an All American. He was also a Guinness World Record holder for being the heaviest living athlete with a maximum weight of 882 pounds.
Yarborough won the World Amateur Sumo Championship in 1995 and was a professional wrestler in Germany. He competed at UFC 3 in 1994 but lost to Keith Hackney, finishing his MMA career with a record of 1 – 2. Yarborough held a brown belt in judo and appeared in commercials for Motorola and in an episode of the TV series Oz.
