Dying Light Blueprint Locations in Old Town Guide

Old Town is the second area in Dying Light and in this guide we will show you locations of some very rare Blueprints used for crafting items in the game. There is a significantly smaller amount of blueprints in Old Town (compared to the number of blueprints in Slums area or one blueprint in Antenna area), but the power and usability of these schematics is far greater.

Pyza Suit

Components: 10x Gauze, 10x Duct tape, 10x String, 10x Alcohol.
On the corner of a rooftop in southwestern Old Town you should find a chimney with a green pipe inside it. Pull the pipe’s cover to be able to enter a new area called “World 1-1”. As you enter this new area you’ll probably notice it looks like Super Mario’s World 1-1. Following the path you’ll come to the first gap you need to jump across. Just before you do that, go back five steps (five cubes) and jump. This will reveal a hidden pink cube (this is similar to hidden cube in Super Mario where you jump and a cube appears). Jump on top of it to find the Blueprint.

Poison Strapon

Effects: Toxic (adds Medium Toxic effect to your attacks).
Components: 1x Metal Parts, 2x String, 4x Underwater Algae, 4x Toxic Lichen, 1x Gauze.
Base Weapons: Short sword, Two handed sword, Machete, Khopesh.
In southwestern Old Town there is an area between buildings that is surrounded with a metal fence. In the corner of this area you should find a sofa and a dead body on it. Blueprint is near its legs.

Right hand of gloVA

Effects: This is a throwing weapon. This is a powerful enemy seeking grenade type of a weapon.
Components: 30x Herb, 1x Alcohol.
To obtain this schematic you have to find two Unknown stones and place them on a skull. These stones are found in far northwest and far southeast parts of Old Town area. The one on far southeast is on a beach, next to the water, close to the nearby museum compound. The one on far northwest is on the side of a stone tower, at the start of a small peninsula.
Once you collect two stones you have to place them on a skull inside a safe zone area north from the Harran University. However, this safe zone area is only accessible once you accept the side mission “Do you Believe?” from Mufid in Harran University. Side mission becomes available when the main mission “Higher Education” sends you to Harran University. This safe zone is rather unique as it is the one from where the loud music starts coming out. Go inside it, and place the two stones on a skull found on a rock. Shortly after a blueprint reveals itself next to the skull.

Strobe Knight

Effects: Bleeding (adds Medium bleeding effect to your attacks) and Electricity (adds Medium discharge to your attacks).
Components: 2x Metal Parts, 2x Duct tape, 1x Alcohol, 2x Blade, 2x Batteries, 1x Electronics.
Base Weapons: Machete, Two handed sword, Khopesh.
On the ground floor of large Eurynomos BANK. On top of the one of the four metal barrels, next to the power generator.

Cut’N’Go

Effects: Impact (adds Medium impact boost to your attacks).
Components: 1x Metal Parts, 1x Alcohol, 1x Blade, 2x Chemicals, 1x Power Cable.
Base Weapons: Cleaver, Sickle, Short sword, Two handed sword, Machete, Khopesh, Blade.
Just west of the first safe zone in Old Town. In the western part of the roof, on a white mattress, next to the red carpet.

Poison Blast

Effects: Bleeding (adds Medium bleeding effect to your attacks) and Toxic (adds Medium Toxic effect to your attacks).
Components: 2x Metal parts, 1x Alcohol, 1x Nails, 2x Blade, 2x Aerosol, 1x Electronics.
Base Weapons: Two handed hammer, Pickaxe, Two handed axe.
In eastern Old Town you can find a huge parking lot. In southern part of this parking lot there is a beige truck. At the right side of this truck, inside the truck’s opened tool box is the blueprint.

Bad Ass

Effects: Impact (adds Small impact boost to your attacks) and Burning (adds Small Fire effect to your attacks).
Components: 2x Metal Parts, 1x Alcohol, 2x Household Supplies, 2x Chemicals, 2x Aerosol, 1x Electronics.
Base Weapons: Cleaver, Sickle, Short sword, Blade, Two handed sword, Machete, Khopesh.
On top of the large blueish billboard, next to a large town square in eastern Old Town.

Toxic Reaper

Effects: Bleeding (adds Medium bleeding effect to your attacks) and Toxic (adds Medium toxic effect to your attacks).
Components: 2x Metal Parts, 1x Duct tape, 1x Nails, 2x Blade, 2x Aerosol, 1x Electronics.

Stasis field projector

Effects: This creates a grenade type weapon. Once thrown into enemies it explodes and throws the enemies into air and then freezes them there for a few seconds. They die once they fall to the ground.
Components: 20x Fluorescent Shrooms, 1x Alcohol.
Found inside the The Kindergarten in eastern Old Town. In order to enter this building you’ll need a side quest called “Rupert the Gunsmith”. This side quest is given by Fidan in Harran University. Side quest becomes available once you complete the main story mission “Higher Education”, part – “Ask survivors about Jade”.
Once you enter the Kindergarten go straight forward and go through another blue door. Turn left and approach the pink teddy bear. Interact with it several times until it explodes (make sure you have full health so you can survive the explosion. Collect the blueprint that is left behind after the explosion.

Angel Sword

Effects: Electricity (adds Medium electric discharge to your attacks) and Burning (adds Medium fire effect to your attacks).
Components: 2x Metal parts, 2x Duct tape, 2x Aerosol, 2x Batteries, 2x Power Cable, 1x Electronics.
Base Weapons: Short sword, Blade, Two handed sword, Machete, Khopesh.
This blueprint is a reward for side mission “Troll”. This side mission comes at the end of a long chain of side missions. It starts with side mission “Rupert the Gunsmith” (find the kindergarten), given by Fidan at Harran University, which becomes available during the main story mission “Higher Education”, part – “Ask survivors about Jade”. Side mission chain continues with missions: “Health Potion” (finding the insulin), “Blocks for the Boy” (collect 9 missing blocks) and “Dungeon” (killing one person in the basement). Once you complete all these side missions you can accept the final one “Troll” that gives this blueprint as reward.

God Hammer

Effects: Electricity (adds Medium Electric discharge to your attacks) and Burning (adds Medium fire effect to your attacks).

Found at the end of the side mission “Chasing Past”. You can accept this quest once you complete the step “Find the museum custodian” of the main story mission “The Museum”. At the end of the side mission you find out who is the culprit/cannibal and you have to kill him. The room from which he comes out hides the blueprint.

If you followed the steps to get the previous blueprint you are at the last step of the side mission “Chasing Past”. At the end of the side mission Museum Custodian gives you the keys that open the room with the blueprint. This room is just next to the door that led to the Museum in southeastern Old Town.

Electrocutioner

On top of the largest tower in the area. There are several ziplines connecting this tower with buildings nearby. It is hard to miss it as it dominates the area with its height. On the last floor of the tower there are a couple of wooden pallets and the blueprint is on top of them.

Inside Harran University building. As you enter this building from the second to last floor, keep going forward. At the end of a hallway, on the lower level from where the entrance is, is a biology study room. It is all painted white. Next to this room is a smaller room with the blueprint inside.
