The WE tv Love After Lockup star is back behind bars in Ohio, Monique has revealed. Derek Warner Jr. is currently incarcerated at the Lorain Correctional Institution after being taken into custody on January 18.

Derek Warner sent back to prison

Derek is back in prison, according to reports. In March 2023, he was arrested and charged with felonious assault (a second-degree felony), as per Starcasm, following an altercation with another inmate during jail time in 2021.

He pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of attempted aggravated assault in May 2023. He was sentenced to one year of community control and remained out of custody until earlier this month.

When Warner was previously in jail, Monique bailed him out. After he was released from prison the first time, having served nine years in prison for drug possession and distribution, she had serious trust issues.

Monique changed her Facebook profile photo to Derek’s latest mugshot photo on Friday, January 26. When a fan asked if the Love After Lockup star will bail him out, she replied, “Lie! Buddy doing big time!”

The mug shot photo is from the Ohio Department of Corrections website, which doesn’t list any new charges for Derek. The only charges listed are his 2020 felony drug convictions.

“He’s in for a violation so his old charges are up there along with old info,” Monique clarified. Some fans thought the mugshot was from his former time in jail but she confirmed it was not, sharing his old one.

Derek and Monique split after Love After Lockup, where they faced issues with honesty. When she questioned his past drug use, Derek told cameras there is history Monique still doesn’t know.

Monique wrote on Facebook: “Derek fumbled me & the bag so it won’t happen again. We had a good run though.” She’s also been addressing Derek’s new woman on social media.

On Sunday, Monique wrote: “You was too busy trying to ‘one up’ his ex sad, desperate, & delusional at its finest. You can’t make me mad about a mf I don’t want! Girl, go to hell!”
