Delaney Sacia's Softball Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

My name is Delaney Sacia, and I am a 5’9” 2019 RHP. I consistently throw 62-64mph with a fastball, dropball, riseball, screwball, and a 48mph change-up. I have been and will continue to take pitching lessons with Doug Gardner, director of All-American Fastpitch Softball camps.

One of my most valuable attributes as a student-athlete is my love of learning, which has propelled me to put forth every effort needed to excel both on the field and in the classroom. Throughout my life, I have always been incredibly goal oriented and have always had the resolve to work towards those visions. I pitch several days a week along with regular conditioning and invest my remaining time in my studies.

Simply put, I have zero interest in mediocrity. I have confidence in the potential of both myself and others, and I have always done my best to make my teammates believe in themselves as much as I believe in them. I am looking to carry these beliefs with me to the collegiate level, where I am certain that I will only continue to grow as both a student and an athlete.
