Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Colin Myers. My goal at this point in my high school career is to continue enhancing my skills as a baseball player while maintaining my high academic standing at Roman Catholic High School. I am a student athlete and hope to continue that path in college by earning a degree in marketing.
I am a hard worker, when I set my mind to something I get it done. I may be smaller in stature, but I make up for it as a player, teammate, and a leader on every team I am a part of. Given the opportunity, I will prove that I am the type of person and player your program is looking for.
Last year, I made the Varsity team as a sophomore where I earned a steady role in the lineup. In the beginning of the season, I had to battle against upperclassman for a spot in the lineup. I was able to take advantage of every opportunity given to me, and proved to be a contributing member to the team’s success.
This year as a junior, I plan to improve all aspects of my game. I look forward to another successful season on both a personal level and as a team.
