ATLANTA -- The search has ended for three children allegedly abducted by their father at gunpoint from southwest Atlanta on Wednesday evening. But the search for the suspect continues.
Relatives of the children told 11Alive's Keith Whitney that authorities had located the children and have taken them to a local hospital.
The Atlanta Police Department later elaborated that the suspect allegedly dropped the children off with a relatively - supposedly having seen the story broadcast on local media.
Police said 2-year-old Dominique Williams, 4-year-old Kameria Hill, and 5-year-old Tyesha Hill were taken from their home in the 1000 block of Garibaldi Street SW.
At the time, the three were last seen leaving in a dark 4-door vehicle, possibly a dark-blue Buick, and may have been en route to 3110 Godby Road in College Park, with their father, Dominique Hill.
Anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
