Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas weren’t contestants on Dancing with the Stars this year. But, their guest appearance during the season 32 finale had them stealing the spotlight. The TikTok star and her professional dance partner rose to the top of the leaderboard last year and were crowned the 2022 winners.
As this year’s final episode drew closer, Charli and Mark’s fans were super excited to hear that they’d be returning for a guest performance. Their finale dance was hugely anticipated with many DWTS fans tweeting out their excitement over the former champions.

Rewinding to 2022, Dancing with the Stars crowned Charli and Mark the winners of season 31.
After 10 weeks of training and showstopping performances, Charli and Mark, Gabby and Val, Shangela and Gleb, and Wayne and Witney all made it to the final.
Dancing the Jive and Freestyle in the season 31 finale, Charli and Mark took the crown.
The Bachelorette‘s Gabby Windey came in second place with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Dancing with the Stars fans excited for return
Ahead of the season 32 finale, it was revealed that Carli and Mark would be returning to the show to perform a brand new routine.
This had the dancing duo’s fans buzzing and many took to social media to share their excitement.
One person tweeted on X (Twitter): “Mark and Charli are gonna dance next week and all the celebs are gonna be so thankful she was on last season.”
Another said: “Wait Charli and Mark are coming back for the finale.”
Charli also took to Instagram to share some photos of herself and Mark in rehearsals, writing: “Couldn’t stay away.”
Following their finale performance, it looks like fans were seriously impressed by the season 31 champions once again.

DWTS finale ‘jam-packed’
As well as crowning this year’s DWTS winners, the finale also welcomed back Charli and Mark.
Lots of viewers expressed their thoughts on the 2023 final being “jam-packed,” and one tweeted: “They wasted SO much time at the beginning and rush the ending.”
Another said: “I HATE that they wait until the very last minute to announce the winners. Credits rolling before they even say who got the trophy.”
Despite some complaints over how busy the ABC show’s final episode was, many were over the moon to see Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy win this year’s show.
