Ryan Gosling’s dynamic performance of “I’m Just Ken” at the 2024 Oscars brought more than "kenough," uh, "kenergy" — and a range of celebs seemed to agree.
As Gosling, wearing a glittery hot-pink suit, crept up behind Margot Robbie at the start of the song, she descended into fits of laughter — and she wasn’t the only one laughing during the actor’s silly performance. (Side note: Who knew Gosling had such a respectable live singing voice?)

The entire audience was eating up Gosling's rendition of the tune, and the camera flashed to a number of Gosling’s Barbie collaborators, including Greta Gerwig, Kate McKinnon, and America Ferrera, who all laughed and smiled throughout. Later on, they sang along with Gosling as he popped by their aisle to share the spotlight.
Later on in the song, Gosling approached Best Actress winner Emma Stone, who stopped what she was doing to grab the microphone, sing along, and briefly dance as "Ken" walked past. (As she accepted her award at the end of the show, Stone laughed that the back of her dress had broken during "I'm Just Ken.")
Enhancing the already ridiculous performance were the scores of backup dancers sharing the stage with Gosling — along with infamous guitarist Slash from Guns n Roses.
“I’m Just Ken” was one of two Barbie songs to earn an Oscar nomination this year (Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For" was the other).
