Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Carter Lazarski and I am a Junior at Kinnelon High School, NJ. I have been playing baseball practically my whole life, from little league, to town travel, to club baseball and now on my high school varsity team. I continue to play on my club team, the Akadema Prospects as the center fielder and lead off batter. Baseball to me is more than just a game, it’s a passion, it has taught me how to be a leader on and off the field, the importance of discipline and how to effectively work as a team. I continue to work hard, pushing myself to the limit to improve my baseball skills by working out all year round. I am dedicated to improving myself as a player on the field, as well as a student in the classroom. Both academically and athletically my standards are set high and I continue to work hard to set higher standards everyday.
I am excited about the opportunity to play baseball at a college or university that is a good fit for me both academically and athletically. My goal is to be a scholar athlete and I am looking forward to receiving a great education and experiencing the friendships and camaraderie of a collegiate team.
Below is an assessment from my Club Baseball Coach.
