C.J. Stroud, Puka Nacua Headline Madden 24 Ratings Update After Wild Card Round | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

Two star rookies headlined EA Sports' latest update to player ratings in Madden 24.

First-year quarterback C.J. Stroud received a one-point boost to 81 overall after leading the Houston Texans to a 45-14 wild card win over the Cleveland Browns in his playoff debut.

Stroud tied a rookie playoff game record by throwing three touchdown passes during the Saturday victory.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua also saw his rating jump by one point to 84 overall after setting a rookie record for receiving yards in a playoff game during the Rams' 24-23 Sunday loss to the Detroit Lions.

Nacua, who also scored a touchdown in the loss, had just finished the regular season by setting single-season rookie records with 105 catches and 1,486 receiving yards.

The rookies may have been the headliners, but a few NFL veterans also received rating boosts after Super Wild Card Weekend.

Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander saw a one-point boost to 92 overall after recording seven tackles during the Packers' 48-32 Sunday wild card victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Alexander also picked off a pass from Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott to help the Packers secure the win.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love also received recognition from EA Sports with a plus-3 increase to 83 overall. He threw for 272 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's victory over Dallas.
