In response, the London Metropolitan Police have stated that they are actively investigating the incident.

There were also comments calling for the attacker to be held accountable for her actions, with some users arguing that it was more than just an attempt at murder.

One user commented, “Everyone is saying it’s attempted murder. True, but I honestly think it’s more malicious than that. She wanted to scar her with that boiling water and change her appearance by burning her (see how she was trying to pour the water near her face). That’s evil.”

Another user wrote, “The black community condemns this violent traumatic incident. We want her caught. So don’t think we agree, we don’t. We’re raging.”
