Alum House, a collection of 17th-century outbuildings used in the alum mining industry, has been lovingly renovated by owners Deb and Brian Leighton to include two luxury rooms and a courtyard garden. Breakfasts are sumptuous and it’s in a great position for exploring the Cleveland Way and North Yorkshire coastline.
