Personal Statement
My name is Aiden Perry and I am a junior at Vancouver College. My aspiration as an athlete has always been to play college baseball while receiving a quality education and maintaining my 3.7 GPA. Academics have always been a priority for me as I have made first class honours in all my terms as a high school student.
I take great pride in my craft as a baseball player as well and am always willing to put in extra work whether it be in the weight room or on the field. Playing football and basketball at a great high school like Vancouver College has taught me to play through the whistle and give everything I have, I will bring a winning attitude to your program. I have had the honour of being a captain of many of the teams that I have been a part of and can bring leadership and a level head to whatever university I attend. I’ve gone through ups and downs throughout my high school career and have learned what it takes to be a true competitor. People have always questioned my ability due to my size whether it be on the field, diamond or court and I have made it my mission to prove them wrong. I hope you’ll consider letting me bring my leadership, work ethic, talent and athleticism to your team.I fell in love with baseball at a young age and would love the opportunity to continue to live out my dream at a great university.
