Personal Statement
My name is Adrian De La Rosa. I am currently a Senior at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School in Miami, Florida with a 2.86 unweighted GPA. I am a 5'11", right and left footer, 136 lbs Midfielder. I was chosen as the Team Captain and led our team to Districts for the first time in many years. I also play year round with my club team.
My goal is to be a student/athlete for a University where I can not just excel with not only academics and sports but as a leader in the school and community. I am very coachable and willing to do whatever it takes to help my team in any way.
During my years of playing soccer I also have had the opportunity to volunteer in AYSO. It’s a privilege to be able to play, teach young kids and volunteer as a referee for this organization. This has made me appreciative, humble and has taught me to adapt to different personalities and has made me the person and team player that I am today.
I humbly ask for an opportunity at your University. You will not be disappointed.
